Marianne Heske
Marianne Heske er utdannet ved Bergen Kunsthåndverksskole, Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, Royal College of Art, London og ved Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht.
Den konseptuelle Marianne Heske
Videokunst, installasjon og grafikk er bare noen av teknikkene Marianne Heske utforsker med som kunstner . Innen grafikken arbeider hun med litografi, videolitografi og silketrykk.
Marianne Heske er internasjonalt kjent som en konseptuell kunstner, da ideene manifesterer seg i kunstverkene hennes.
Internasjonalt er hun kjent for verket Project Gjerdeløa (1980), da hun installerte en norsk trehytte fra 1800-tallet midt i Centre Pompidou i Paris.
I Norge har hun hatt en rekke utstillinger, blant annet på Henie Onstad Kunstsenter og Museet for Samtidskunst.

Marianne Heske er representert i samlingen til blant andre Museet for Samtidskunst, Nasjonalgalleriet og Ville de Paris.
Hun har i tilegg til dette representert Norge i de nordiske paviljonger ved Biennalen i Venzia, Biennalen i Sao Paolo og ved Verdensutstillingen i Hannover.
